TRÜF 2011 Holiday Card Design

Every year we send our clients and vendors a holiday gift. One year it was TRÜF tee shirts. Another year it was TRÜF Serum (red wine) with custom labels. This year we decided to give back by making a large donation to Best Friends Animal Society. We can’t help but have our heart strings pulled with all the stories of euthanized and neglected animals. So, this year the design of the card revolved around Dogs.
We continued our crafty and hand-made branding by stamping the envelope with TRÜF stamps, snowflakes, snowmen and candy. The card itself is a star made out of dog icons and the Ü from our identity. We have used this “cluster” technique in the past with much success and thought it would work well for this idea. The icons are funny with dogs pooping and those funny plastic collars they wear after they’ve been to the Vet.
We printed 50 matte finish cards using Moo printers and bought the Kraft paper envelopes and stamps at Paper Source in Santa Monica. Both great resources for stationery needs.
The best part is Best Friends matched our donation for a total of $1K from TRÜF to help dogs, cats and other animals in need.
